King’s Events is a non-denominational ministry that endeavours to develop relationships which demonstrate the love of God and help bring the gospel to all people and every church group.  We wish to be part of building up the body of Christ within our communities around us in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and with the support of fellow believers.  Our faith in God, is the substance by which we live.

 

King’s Events wish to see people’s hearts healed and lives changed as they turn to Jesus.  Our desire for ourselves and for others is to continually work toward living a life that is pleasing to the Lord and to do what is right before Him.  We pray and serve according to God’s will which is first and foremost in our lives.  The plans, purposes and pursuits we are part of, are in accordance with the calling He has given us.   We are responding to be the person that God created us to be, go where He tells us to go and do what He wants us to do.

 

As women, called by God and directed by His Holy Spirit, King’s Events organises Christian events that gather people together to come and praise the Lord, hear sermons inspired from Him, and to offer an opportunity to respond to the Lord’s calling on their lives.  We love and care for one another as God's people and yearn to nurture each other in faith and in obedience to Christ.  King’s Events’ commitment is to serve and to tell others about Jesus and to pursue God's justice and peace in every area of life.

 

King’s Events believe that there is only one God and He is Sovereign over everything. 

We believe that God exists in three persons; God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and Holy Spirit.

The bible is God’s written Word inspired by Him and is the Sword of God, the authority in which we stand in Him.

 

The following statements confirm the truth of God’s Word and what we believe to cover the ministry we do:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was sent by His Father in heaven as our Saviour to be born of virgin birth. 

Jesus lived a sinless life in order that His righteousness shall adopt all people that believe and have faith

in Him to be reconciled to His Father in heaven.

 

We believe that through the grace of God, He sent His only Son Christ Jesus to die for us. 

 

When Jesus was crucified, death and sin was defeated as He took sin upon Himself so that all mankind,

through repentance of their sins and their relationship with Jesus, may have eternal life.

 

Jesus rose from the grave three days after his crucifixion and ascended to be seated at the right hand of God.

When Christ died, mankind was given the Holy Spirit of God to lead and guide us in the Will and purpose

that He has for each of us.

 

Holy Spirit lives in us and is our comforter, our help, and through His power alone we are given instruction

from Him as how to live until Christ comes to take us to heaven.

 

We believe that having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, through faith in God, will transform lives

forever in equipping us in our spiritual gifting that God imparts through His Holy Spirit for the body of Christ.

 

We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Head of the body of Christ, which is the Church and in the

Name of Christ Jesus we have access to come to the Father. 

 

It is through God's grace and the power of the Holy Spirit that we serve Him and not by any works or

effort of our own that we share Jesus Christ with our community and the world.
