A definite cultural BLAST and food EMPORIUM!
All welcome to come and have a nosey around at the stalls to stock up

for Christmas on your favourite foods, relishes and biscuits.

A day for family fun, visiting, tasting, sit together and eat some of the

African fare, hear some reminiscent music, buy fabulous local talent arts

and crafts; and enjoy our communal company. We will have plenty small hampers -

perfect for teacher's gifts and Christmas presents, so please hold out to come

and see what's on offer. This African Market Day will not disappoint,

Amanda Grobbelaar

Our special guest speaker at FLOURISH Feminar is Amanda Grobbelaar from Mackay, Queensland.

Amanda will be sharing her personal story with having MS (multiple sclerosis)

and how she finds rest, peace and hope in the storms of life.

Having just published her first book; "The Amanda Grobbelaar Story – Anchored in the Storm",

this is a wonderful account of Amanda's journey of faith, hope and love.

Amanda is anchored in the knowledge of who she is in Christ and what she is capable of in Christ.

She fears no evil, because she knows the Captain of her Ship

and He is the One that still calms the storms today.

Fran Sutherland

PROFILE OF FRAN SUTHERLAND

FRAN is the National Auxiliary President of the Gideons International in Australia and lives in Rockingham. She has been a Christian for 36 years and currently worships at the Rockingham/Mandurah Lutheran Church.

Fran, together with her husband David, has served in the Gideon ministry since September 2000.

David and Fran have two Christian sons, Daniel (an officer in the Navy) and James (a Baptist pastor, now a chaplain in the Navy), who are married to Rita and Deby respectively. They have been blessed with three and a half grandchildren and praise the Lord for, Edward, Amelia, Juliet and one expected in January.

Until recently, Fran has kept busy working as a project scheduler/planner in Defence. Since taking up the role national Auxiliary president she is taking a well-earned rest from paid employment and focusing on the Gideon commitments. And is kept busy with this and supporting David in his role as National President. She loves to garden, cook, and listen to music, but most of all loves spending time with her family.

Fran has been a follower of Jesus since 1981, and counts it an absolute privilege to serve the Lord in the Gideon ministry and thanks Him for His continued grace and enabling power as she serves Him in the role to which He has currently called her.
